Go Wireless with Synel! |
Continuing to lead the industry, Synel offers its customers the latest in data collection: wireless communication.
|
|
Synel terminals incorporate the most widely used standard wireless technology, 802.XX, which is established by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). This standard defines all aspects of Radio Frequency Wireless networking, and ensures that Synel products are compatible with wireless technology in the marketplace.
|
Synel offers 802.11B with the SY-760, SY-780, SY-400 Time and Attendance terminals.
- No need for complicated cabling, extensive infrastructure or costly investments
- Simple installation and implementation
- No need for licensing and
standardization
- Best ROI
Wireless solution based on Bluetooth technology IEEE 802.15.1.1
As an alternative, Synel also offers the option of using Bluetooth® technology with its SY-7XX-series terminals. Synel has developed a new wireless communication card based on Bluetooth technology. This card enables communication between the terminal and the computer without the need for cabling infrastructure, which facilitates fast and reliable system installation.
The communication range using Bluetooth is up to 60 meters inside a building, and up to 100 meters in an open area. When the terminal operates in this type of communication, no Ethernet card is required.
Technical characteristics:
- Wireless communication compliant with Bluetooth Specification Ver1.1
- Uses the license free 2.4GHz ISM Band
- Modulation method GFSK, 1Mbps, 0.5 BT Gaussian
- High sensitivity, supports connections up to 100 meters (Bluetooth Class 1)
- Supports up to 7 ACL connections and up to 3 SCO connection
